Acorn Kids Club is an independent organisation, providing before and after school care, using Green Lane Primary School premises during term time, managed by an independent committee.

Acorn runs between 8am and 8:50am for breakfast club, and at the end of the school day for after school care until 5:25 during term time.

Normally, only children between the ages of 5 and 11 attending Green Lane School may attend the scheme. The Management committee may consider exceptional applications as circumstances arise.

There is a wide range of toys, books, games and a TV for the children's use. There is also planned activities that the children may join in with. During periods of good weather they can also play out on the school field.

During Breakfast club, cereal and toast is provided and after school, drink and biscuits are provided.
