Outcome and action
Some parents seem to think their child is given homework occasionally (sometimes). We will need to make it clear that reading and learning of spellings, tables or facts is homework, not just written work. In the children?s questionnaire all children said they received homework. Parents are informed that they are welcome to meet with teachers if they have any concerns but we will make a point of reminding parents of this in the year group termly newsletters.
